What is CPTED and how does mobile security apply it?
Crime Prevention Through Environmental Design (CPTED) is a 40-year-old discipline built on four principles: natural surveillance, access control, territorial reinforcement, and maintenance. The four CPTED principles
CPTED is the body of practice originated by C. Ray Jeffery in 1971 and refined by Tim Crowe and others. It's adopted by ASIS International, the International CPTED Association, and most urban planning departments — including the City of Houston.
